Look For People Who Are Looking For You

Let's change a bit of our perspective here.

You see, most of the time, when we go out there to "find people", our mindset is to get them to "buy" our product or services so that we can make money. Psychologically, people do not like to be sold anyhing, not even something that could benefit them (how many times you yourself have pushed that poor insurance or unit trust girl away before even listening to what they have to offer you?).

What if you listen out to people and find out how you can help them, before you offer them anything?

In your next meeting, why don't you listen to people more? Sit down and have a chit-chat. Find out about their problems, dreams, nightmares, etc. Then, think about what you have to offer, and how your solution(s) can help them overcome their problems or nightmares, or achieve their dreams and aspirations.

Then you offer them your help. Suggest to them how you can help them.

This works not just in selling, but also during interviews to get that job you want. Offer your potential employers what YOU can do for them, instead of telling them these are your qualifications and skills, and what the company can offer you as a renumeration package. Of course, before offering what you can do for them, you need to find out about the company first - through the Internet, company brochures, insider information, etc.

Well, just try it out. It's very true that before you can be successful in anything, you must go out there and help other people first.

For example, when you meet your next prospects, have a chit-chat with them first. Catch up with old friends and families. relationship with new people and be friends with them. Listen to them and find out about their problems or worries
