Talk To A Lot Of People

I have just listened to a CD by a farmer-turned-businessman Ray Keller, whose topic is "Talk To A Lot Of People". What he says in the CD makes a lot of sense to me, and I'm here to share his main idea with you.

Ray says that if you want to have a big business, no matter what that business is, talk to a lot of people and tell them about your business. The reason is simple: how can you hope to get customers if people don't know that you're doing business?

He also stresses that from his more than 20 years of business experience, word-of-mouth is the best to spread the word around. So, talk to a lot of people. Even if 1 out of every 20 people you talk to spreads the word about your business, the amount of people who will know about your business and what you have to offer will grow tremendously over a short period of time.

Whether you are in the soap business, photography business, or the goat business, talk to a lot of people

No, I didn't say tell a lot of people through fliers and spamming e-mail addresses - I say talk to a lot of people.
