This is a quote from the brother of Rachel Scott, who lost her life in the infamous Columbine High School Massacre:
"What you give your attention to, you give power to."
He gave that comment to Oprah Winfrey, when asked about the murderers of his sister - refusing to transfer more power to the people who were responsible for Rachel's death.
Have you ever thought of what you give your attention to?
Are you giving your attention to your shrinking bank account, or are you giving your attention to the things you can do to increase your earnings?
Are you giving attention to your sick child, or should you focus on getting the best care for him or her?
Are you giving your attention to how much money you can make, or can you shift your attention to how many people you can help make money?
Are you giving your attention to your friends, boss, colleague, government to take you out of your misery, or are you looking at your own self to see if you can do anything about your own life?
Remember, you magnify what you focus on.
You decide on the things you want to give your focus to - things that can help you, or things that will drown you.
