2 weeks had passed and I had only managed to... talk. Talk to friends, talk to another group of friends, and some more friends about the Eilham Awards idea. Of course, I had my business development executive to work on the technical details on the awards portal - a proposal of some sorts - but the meat and body of the idea is still vague in my head.
The portal is a simple idea, but I being me, simplicity is very difficult to achieve.
Contrary to my beliefs (which states that analysis must preceed design), I started on a draft design. Mouse a-clicking, thoughts a-storming, I loaded Adobe Photoshop and started on the raw inspiration.
I browsed through Stock Exchange (www.sxc.hu) to browse through all the free images there, but ended up paying USD100 at Stock Expert (www.stockexpert.com) for some premium art.
And the result: Eilham Awards - the first draft.
